Tisco hikes stainless export prices for September orders

Taiyuan Iron & Steel Group (Tisco), the largest stainless producer in China announced to hike its export prices by US$150/ton averagely for September orders, driven by sharply rising nickel prices boosted by the QE3 monetary policy.

Tisco decided to hike its export prices for 304 grade cold rolled coils (CRC) and hot rolled coils (HRC) by US$150/ton respectively while it remained the export prices for 430 grade stainless steel cold rolled coils (CRC) unchanged.

The price hike will be applied for the September orders and the estimated delivery is in November.
